Mazen is a PhD researcher at the University of Reading in the UK, within the Department of Film, Theatre and Television — a field that reflects his academic interests and passion. He also holds three university degrees from UK universities.
In 2021, Mazen received the BBC Making a Difference Award for his volunteer work during the COVID-19 pandemic. He was also honoured by having his name displayed on a GWR train. Since then, he has supported and inspired thousands of students in the UK and the Middle East, encouraging education, learning English, and volunteering. Through his weekly TikTok videos, Mazen has reached millions of people worldwide.
